By creating an account, using the BancerX app, applying to jobs, posting jobs, or accessing our blog content, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

3. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to:
- Job Seekers who create profiles, upload resumes, and apply to job listings
- Employers and Recruiters who post jobs and access candidate information
- Blog Readers and API Consumers who access our public content
- BancerX App Users on any supported mobile device
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from our Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
4. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
4.1 Information You Provide Directly

4.3 Location Data
With your explicit permission, we collect:
- Approximate Location (city/region level): Used to surface locally relevant job listings and salary benchmarks
- Precise Location (GPS-level): Collected only when you enable location-based job search features in BancerX
You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking location access does not affect your ability to use core Platform features.
4.4 Resume and CV Data
When you upload a resume or CV, we process:
- Structured professional history (employer names, job titles, dates)
- Educational qualifications
- Skills and competencies listed
- Any personal information you choose to include in your document
You control who can see your resume. You may set your profile to Public, Employer-Only, or Private at any time.
4.5 Payment Information
Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors. We do not store raw card numbers on our servers. We retain:
- Tokenized payment references provided by our processor
- Transaction amounts, dates, and statuses
- Billing name and address for invoicing and fraud prevention
4.6 Blog and API Data
Our blog content is publicly accessible and also available via the Careebance Public API. When you access blog content or integrate our API into a third-party application:
- We collect standard server log data (IP address, request timestamps, endpoints accessed)
- API keys issued to developers are associated with the registered developer account
- We do not track individual readers’ reading history beyond aggregate analytics
5. How We Use Your Information

When you apply for a job or set your profile to Employer-Only or Public visibility, your professional information (name, resume, contact details you choose to share, and application materials) will be visible to the employer associated with that listing.
7.2 With Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party vendors who process data on our behalf, including:
- Payment processors (billing and fraud prevention)
- Cloud infrastructure providers (hosting and data storage)
- Analytics providers (usage and crash analytics)
- Email delivery services (transactional and marketing emails)
- Customer support tools (ticket management)
All service providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data to the services they provide to us.
7.3 With API Consumers
Blog content retrieved through the Careebance Public API does not include personally identifiable user data. API consumers receive only editorial content (articles, metadata, tags) as published.
7.4 Business Transfers
If Careebance Inc. undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

10. Children’s Privacy
The Careebance Platform and BancerX are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

Compliance note: BancerX is rated for users 18+ on Google Play. We do not direct our Services to children and do not knowingly allow children to register for accounts.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Careebance website to:
- Maintain your authenticated session
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Understand how visitors interact with our website and blog
- Measure the effectiveness of our communications
You may configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on the Careebance website.
The BancerX mobile app uses mobile analytics SDKs and does not use browser cookies.
14. Third-Party Links and Integrations
Careebance and BancerX may contain links to third-party websites or integrations with third-party platforms (such as job aggregators, LinkedIn, or external employer sites). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Platform.
15. International Data Transfers
Careebance Inc. operates globally. Your personal information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK to countries not deemed adequate by the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

- Notify you via email (to the address associated with your account) or via an in-app notification in BancerX

Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
